Packaging and shipping
At Blad & Bloei we do everything we can to carefully pack your plants and ship them safely. We use sustainable, plastic-free packaging that is specially designed to deliver your plants to your home in optimal condition, within 1 to 5 working days. Our delivery is made to the first front door on the ground floor.
Important: Plants are living products and require proper care upon receipt to thrive.

At Blad & Bloei we do everything we can to ensure that your order is delivered to you in perfect condition. However, in exceptional cases it can happen that an item is damaged during transport or does not arrive in the expected condition. In that case we are ready to solve this for you as soon as possible.
What to do in case of damage or problems with your order?
If you notice upon receipt that a plant, pot or other item is damaged or has not been delivered in good condition, please contact us immediately. You can do this via our contact page or by sending an email to contact@bladenbloei.nl . In order to help you as best as possible, we ask you to include the following information in your message:
- Your order number
- A brief description of the problem
- Clear photos of the damaged item and, if applicable, the packaging
With this information we can quickly assess the situation and provide an appropriate solution.
Our solutions in case of damage or defects
Depending on the situation, we will ensure that you receive a suitable solution as soon as possible. This can include:
- Replacement of the damaged item
- Refund of the purchase amount
- A voucher for a future purchase
We aim to handle complaints within 1 to 2 working days and to clearly inform you about the next steps.
Important: Please contact us within 48 hours
Because plants are living products and their condition can change quickly, we ask you to report any damage or problems as soon as possible, preferably within 48 hours of receipt . This helps us to accurately assess the situation and provide a solution quickly.

Returns
Since we work with living products, plants and flowers cannot be returned. Due to their fragility and limited shelf life, it is not possible to return plants once they have left our warehouse or the grower. This policy also applies to plants that are damaged due to improper care or unsuitable conditions after delivery.
Pots and other accessories can be returned within 14 days . Follow these steps:
- Register your products for return by sending an email to retour@bladenbloei.nl including your order number and the items you wish to return.
- Pack the items you want to return in the original packaging and add a note with your order number. This way we know who the return is from.
- Send your return to the return address below via the nearest post office. The costs and risk for the return shipment are for your own account.

Return conditions:
- Returns are only possible within 14 days after receiving the item.
- Return costs and shipping risk are at the customer's own expense.
- Please ensure that the items are in their original condition and packaging so that we can relist them.
- Please return the items you wish to return in one shipment to expedite processing.
- Without a track & trace code we cannot start an investigation into missing returns.
- Once we have received your return, we will process the refund within 5 working days .
Swap
At Blad & Bloei we strive to provide you with the most beautiful plants and accessories. We understand that you can sometimes change your mind or would like to receive a different product. However, it is good to know that exchanging products is not possible with us.
Would you like a different product?
Although we do not offer an exchange option, you can always easily place a new order via our webshop. This way you can still receive the desired item. We recommend that you process your return quickly and then place a new order to avoid unnecessary delays.
Important points to consider when placing a new order:
- Unfortunately, discount codes used on your original order cannot be reapplied to a new order.
- If you cannot find a specific item in the webshop, it may be temporarily out of stock. Please contact our customer service for more information on availability.
Why don't we offer an exchange service?
Our plants and pots are carefully selected and packed to arrive in optimal condition. To ensure this quality, we cannot re-offer returned products as fresh products. This means that we cannot support an exchange service, because we want to prevent our customers from receiving products that have already been sent.
In addition, we want to keep our processes efficient so that we can process and ship your orders quickly. This contributes to our focus on sustainability and minimizes the impact of returns.
Return and then place a new order
If you have changed your mind about a product, you can choose to return the product according to our returns procedure. Once we have processed the return, you can place a new order via our webshop.
Important: It is not possible to return fresh products such as plants or flowers (except artificial plants and flowers)

Our plants are delivered directly from the grower, without unnecessary intermediate steps. This means that your plants are not stored for weeks, but are shipped directly from the grower to you. This process ensures that the plants:

- Photos of the plant and any damage

We always provide a suitable solution, such as sending a replacement product or offering a (partial) refund.
